Evergreen Manor CARES Act funded homes, ready for move in!

After some unanticipated delays, the two new Zero Energy Modular (ZEM) homes in Evergreen Manor are ready for move in! The homes have been earmarked for precariously housed people or people who have endured homelessness. Lamoille Housing Partnership and Capstone Community Action are partnering to incorporate supportive services with the affordable homes to ensure that the new residents meet their basic needs and also achieve lifelong housing success.

Scroll through the photo gallery below to take a β€œvirtual tour” of the ZEM homes.

The new homes were funded and made possible by Covid Relief Funding administered by Vermont Housing & Conservation Board (VHCB.) We are not holding a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, but will share a virtual celebration featuring members of our congressional delegation, locally elected representatives, and project partners who were instrumental in securing CARES Act funding for this rapid action, affordable housing project.
